Interim Staffing at the VP or Director Level
Often organizations need to immediately fill temporary staff gaps during development staff transitions at the VP or Director level. An experienced fundraiser can step in as an interim staff member to meet their immediate needs so that their fundraising plans never stop, and stay on target. After decades of work in development, followed by contracts with more than ½ dozen clients as an interim VP or Director, interim staffing has become an anchor of my consulting practice.
Fundraising Audit and Strategy
Both start-up and established organizations often need to look in the mirror to figure out what fundraising efforts work, what needs improvement, and how they should internally invest their resources to meet their financial goals. An outside consultant can comprehensively assess the status of their current fundraising efforts, to identify strengths and weaknesses, and help to seek out areas for growth. As a fundraising consultant, I collect data, analyze it and with the organization’s input come to conclusions to help them improve their systems and raise additional funds. Then, I can help them efficiently implement their fundraising objectives as part of a comprehensive strategic plan.
Campaign Planning and Implementation
Campaigns can be focused on taking an organization to the next level by improving their space, growing programs or expanding an endowment. As a consultant, I work with a team to assess an organization’s readiness and conduct the preparatory steps for a campaign through a feasibility study. I can also help lead non-profits through the process of a successful campaign and have helped to produce campaigns that have raised 6-figure to 9-figure goals.
