About Me

Committed to Fundraising Excellence

I love creating good in the world through fundraising! I am a development professional with more than 25 years experience with diverse non-profit organizations.  With a strong generalist fundraising background, I have proven success in managing major gifts, annual fund, foundation relations, direct mail, online fundraising, and special events programs.  During my career, I have become an innovative strategist with a strong knowledge of the most effective methods of creating and maintaining a comprehensive fund-raising program.

Prior to my start in consulting in 2015, I managed small and large development operations in organizations concerned with global health, the arts, scientific research, social justice and social services. My experience has allowed me to organize fundraising to achieve incremental revenue growth in the short-term and transformational growth that has increased revenue by more than 100-500% over time. I held senior development positions with long tenures at the Population Council, American Civil Liberties Union, and NARAL Pro-Choice New York. I started my fundraising career at Bailey House and School of American Ballet.

I serve on the Community Organizing Committee of East End Temple and the Advisory Committee for Public Square. Previously, I was Vice President of the Board of NOW-NYC, on the Northeast Council for IGNITE National, and on the Board of Advisors to Exhale to Inhale. I am a proud member of the professional groups Women in Development and the Association of Non-Profit Specialists. I received a BA from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA with a specialization in arts management from Binghamton University.
